What BlinkGuard is
BlinkGuard is a software tool that reminds you to blink and take brief visual breaks during screen use, to support everyday eye comfort. It is a general wellness and productivity aid.
What BlinkGuard is not
BlinkGuard is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. It is not a substitute for professional eye care. If you have dry eye disease, persistent irritation, pain, or any change in your vision, please see an optometrist or ophthalmologist. You use the extension on the understanding that it is a comfort reminder, not medical treatment.
Free and Pro
The free version of BlinkGuard is provided at no cost. Pro is an optional, one-time purchase that unlocks additional features for the lifetime of the product on your account/device, as described on our website. "Lifetime" means for as long as we reasonably continue to operate and support the extension; it does not promise indefinite future development.
Payments
Pro is sold through our merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy, who processes the payment, handles applicable taxes and VAT, and issues your receipt. Prices are shown at checkout and may change over time, but a change never affects a purchase you've already made. Your one-time Pro purchase is not a subscription and will not auto-renew or recur.
Refund policy
We want you to be happy with BlinkGuard. If Pro isn't right for you, you may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, for any reason. To request one, email Blinkguardsupport@gmail.com with the email address or order ID used at checkout.
- Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method via Lemon Squeezy.
- After a refund, your Pro features will be deactivated.
- Refund requests outside the 14-day window are considered case by case, at our discretion.
As our merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy may also apply its own buyer-protection and refund handling. Nothing here limits any statutory rights you have under the consumer law of your country.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the extension, for example by reverse-engineering it to bypass Pro licensing, redistributing it as your own, or using it to break any law. We may suspend access where these terms are seriously or repeatedly broken.
Availability and changes
We work to keep BlinkGuard reliable, but it's provided "as is" without guarantees of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Browser updates and platform changes outside our control can affect how it behaves. We may add, change, or retire features over time, and we'll aim to keep paid features working for Pro users.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BlinkGuard and its operator are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the extension or website. Our total liability for any claim relating to Pro is limited to the amount you paid for it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [your country/jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless your local consumer law gives you a different right.
